I moved to Boston after graduation. I spent a year doing pediatric orthopedic clinical research at Boston Children's Hospital, where I worked with families and children with congenital upper limb differences. I'm currently a medical student at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth (Class of 2029). I'm interested in cardiothoracic and transplant surgery (still exploring), and I want to pursue a career in academic medicine.

Working seasonal outdoor jobs. I worked on an organic farm in the Fall, ski patrol in the winter, and backpack and rock climb guiding in the summer. Now I’m looking for more steady work in the environmental world but will hopefully work 911 until I find a job in that field.

I took a gap year and travelled and worked as an EMT and FTO at Eagle Ambulance. I have been accepted at CUSM for their MD program, starting in fall 2025! I aim to become a compassionate physician, though which specialty I’ll end up in is to be determined still! (Leaning toward EM/general surgery/cardiology.)

I've just finished a master's in statistics at Stanford and am taking a gap year next year to do some computational policy research and apply to PhDs in statistics/operations research. Completely veered off the medicine path :P But EMT-ing was a highlight of high school and undergrad and I'd totally do it again. Feel free to reach out if you're thinking about going down non-medical paths after undergrad!

Since graduating UC Berkeley, I attained a Masters of Science in Public Health (MSPH) at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. I am currently working at University of Michigan School of Kinesiology as a Research Specialist in the Center for Inclusive Mobility Environment. Our work aims to improve the accessibility of public transportation systems, particularly making access to transportation equitable among older adults and people with disabilities. In the fall, I plan to matriculate in the PhD program at School of Kinesiology and continue my work in transportation equity.

I found out I had stage 4 ovarian cancer in March of this year :( I've received surgery and radiation and am currently undergoing chemotherapy, which have all allowed me to recover to the point where I feel pretty good as of right now (May 2025). I know a lot of BMRC members aspire to become doctors, so I'm happy to answer questions about my experience with cancer.

Since graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular & Cell Biology, I’ve been working as a Staff Research Associate at UCSF in the Nair Lab, where I study the genetic and molecular mechanisms behind ocular diseases like myopia and glaucoma. Currently, I’m preparing to apply to medical school with the goal of becoming a cardiologist.

After graduating from Berkeley, I worked as an MA at an integrative medicine clinic and then started PA school at Samuel Merritt in Oakland in Aug 2023. Currently I’m in my clinical year of PA school and doing my rotations around the Bay Area; hopefully I’ll be graduating in December 2025! I’m going towards working in the emergency department or doing an EM fellowship postgrad.

Since graduating from Cal I have gone to medical school at the University of Iowa followed by residency training at Michigan State / Spectrum Health and returned to the University of Iowa for Critical Care Training. I am currently a board certified and practicing emergency physician in Iowa and moving to Phoenix, AZ where I will be a full-time intensivist. My clinical interests are in extracorporeal life support (ECMO), regionalization of advanced care, and de-escalation of patient's poly-pharmacy.
